Online registration closes on Friday, August 11th.
Symposium registration will be open from midday on Tuesday at the Congress office in the Maritim.

Conference Fees

Please choose between the two options of paying by bank transfer or credit card. If you pay by bank transfer (SEPA or international bank transfer) you are responsible for payment of the bank transfer charge for your registration. We need to charge you an additional € 20.-  for credit card payment to cover the fee for the transaction.

Includes: opening ceremony and reception; all scientific plenaries, sub-plenaries and experiental groups; coffee breaks and lunch; conference documents and certificate of attendance.

Registration is only complete after payment, payment must be before 15.01.17/15.04.2017 for the reduced rates.

The Gala Evening on Friday night costs € 90.-, subsidized € 60.-, which needs to be added to the registration fee.

Cancelation must be in writing to the congress office or E-Mail by the following dates:

until 1st June 2017 – 50% refund
after 1st June 2017 – No refund

Gala Evening on Friday night

Prices: € 90.- /subsidized price: € 60.-

We want to help everyone to attend the Gala Evening! We suggest you choose between two prices.
The price of € 90.- will cover our cost for those able to pay. For those who experience personal or economic difficulties we propose a price of € 60.-. This gesture of solidarity will be subsidized by the Symposium.

You are welcome to bring a guest for the price of € 90.- / € 60.-

Hotel Booking MARITIM

Special rates for participants. Due to a limited contingent we advice early booking!

The Hotel Maritim is the conference venue. We encourage you to book here. You will have no cost for public transportation. Leaving your room you can meet other participants informally or join the symposium. It is also central in Berlin-Mitte to the city centre of Potsdamer Platz and to the recreational area of Tiergarten. There is a limited number of single and double rooms put aside for Symposium delegates at a special price. Please book early, the number of rooms is limited. This offer closes latest on June 19th, 2017.

Cancelation or change of reservation is possible until 4 weeks before the first night of reservation without cost. In case of cancelation after this or „no show“ the full price will be charged minus the fixed sum of 10%) or minus the price should it be rented out otherwise.

Please see the reservation conditions of the Hotel Maritim. Please guarantee your reservation with your credit card. The hotel will not charge your credit card before your arrival.

Bursaries

If you wish to apply for a bursary to attend the symposium, please apply before January 15, 2017. We think, we will be able to provide about 60 bursaries for helping colleagues, especially students, to participate in the Symposium. Please note, that it will only apply to Early Bird registrants! The end of Early Bird registration is 15th of January 2017.

Please indicate your interest to the congress office and you will receive guidelines for your application. The symposium bursary committee might need to contact applicants by e-mail if they are in need of more details. Please submit your completed application and supporting papers by 15th November 2016 to the congress office.

Please apply first for a bursary, wait for the decision and then register for the symposium.

Visa

We welcome participants from all over the world to our symposium. We would like to support your participation if you come from a country where you need a visa to come to Germany. We recommend you to find out in time (at least some weeks or better some months before the symposium). You will need an original invitation of the Symposium to apply. If we know of your application for a visa, we would contact the responsible German mission to inform them about the symposium. Please apply for visa as soon as possible and send your request to Pieter Hutz (pieter.hutz@me.com) or Kurt Husemann (hu.psy@t-online.de) by email.

Donations

Donations to support the symposium, for example for GASI bursaries will be very welcome.
Further information about this will be available from September 2016.
